Join us at the Jabberwocky Bookshop in Newburyport as we celebrate one of the hottest genres right now: horror!

On Friday, October 30th at 5:30pm, Jabberwocky is hosting an author panel event. Local author Douglas Wynne, Christopher Golden, Jennifer Anne Gordon, Bracken MacLeod, and Natalie Kikic will discuss, why horror now? What is it about horror that is speaking to a new audience in this moment? We might expect people to turn away from darkness for their entertainment in troubled times, but the current horror revival defies that expectation. So, what do these new perspectives on old fears have to offer in an uncertain era? And is there something therapeutic or comforting to be found in the shadows?
